Back to school season is here!! Most of you have started to shop and prepped your kids for the school year. We need to spend time with our kids in conversations about life, truth and freedom. Don’t give them half truths, speak nothing but the truth. How to carry themselves accordingly, how to speak to their elders, teachers, counselors. How to dress appropriately not provocatively. Speak your truths parents, your mistakes, your bad behaviors when you were their age. Let them know about the consequences of their actions. Your child is your future. If you want your child to have a great and successful future, then you need to talk and prepare them for it. Don’t Be their friends, be their parents. God didn’t give you your child to be your friend. He believes in you that you are well equipped to do the job...and if you’re not sure of how to go about it, allow God to teach you.
