When Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson used the term "filth" in a speech about the LGBTQ+ community, Democrats quickly called for his resignation. The state Republican Party issued a statement of support for Robinson.

However, there are some Republicans, particularly the younger ones, who are growing concerned about the party's image with the LGBTQ+ community and in urban/suburban spaces. Two of those Republicans made no bones about it in posts on Twitter.

Larry Shaheen and Brent Woodcox join Tim Boyum to talk about this situation and the future of their party.
