It's been six months since Israel declared war against Hamas following an unprecedented attack by the terrorist group, which saw some 1,200 people killed and more than 200 taken hostage.

The country rallied in the wake of the attack, and received sympathy from much of the international community, but now Israel is in a far different place: divided at home, isolated internationally, and on trial for genocide.
