Yasmani Grandal struggled to produce while trying to stay healthy for the Chicago White Sox in 2022. Grandal signed a 4 yr. deal for 73 million back in 2019. It was the biggest contract ever handed out by the Chicago White Sox organization. Grandal was coming off an All-Star campaign for the Milwaukee Brewers and was ready to bring his switch hitting power to the South Side. Yasmani Grandal has battled knees issues and leg problems during his White Sox tenure, limiting his playing time as well as hampering his performance. Grandal only played in 99 games for the White Sox and was often relegated to DH or first base in 2022. Grandal sounds determined to get himself healthy for 2023.
