The New York Yankees lost 11-3 to the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night in Truist Park. Clarke Schmidt had his worst outing of the season, only lasting two and one-third innings and giving up eight runs on nine hits. The Yankees’ offense hit into as many double plays as runs scored. They couldn’t get anything going while the Braves were relentless at the plate.
