Historian and author Megan Koreman discusses her book "The Escape Line: How the Ordinary Heroes of Dutch-Paris Resisted the Nazi Occupation of Western Europe" with host Jim Fausone.  About 330 men and women who belonged to the Dutch-Paris resistance network hid 1500 Jews in France and Belgium and escorted another 1500 people to safety in neutral Spain and Switzerland. She paints a historical picture prompting the question of how people would react today.  Koreman engaged in a 9-year effort of interviews and archive reviews to source her historically accurate book.
