A Mark For Trademarks

John shows off his expertise in trademarks by discussing some of the interesting marks that Cody has applied for. You know, part of me wonders if John should have a spin-off podcast where he talks solely about pro wrestling from a legal standpoint.

Wrestling Streaming Platforms

Twitch is YouTube, but if you liked watching people play video games. Okay, that’s a pretty crude explanation of the platform, but that’s pretty much what I think of it. Impact Wrestling is on Twitch. It’s easier to watch their product on Twitch than the Travel Channel. Watching wrestling on a streaming platform is a very popular method of consuming wrestling media. Heard the guys in New York just updated their little app thingy. Hope it has a better UI than NJPW World.

Uce on the Loose

Jimmy Uso was arrested for a DUI for the third time. I honestly thought this was his first DUI arrest, however, it’s certainly not his first alcohol-related incident. This past winter, Uso was christened “Eastside Uce” by members of the TAWF Galaxy for managing to have a run-in with Detroit Police. As someone who grew up near Detroit and been drunk in that city many times, I’m absolutely blown away that he actually had a conversation with a Detroit police officer.  WWE didn’t punish Uso in a way that any other employer would punish him. They just had him get pinned in a fake fight. That’ll learn him.
