Dom led off today’s show by talking about last night’s debate, specifically the hammering Warren faced on the issue of health care. During the debate, Buttigieg and Klobuchar called out the Democratic frontrunner for her refusal to answer whether or not her health care plan would raise taxes on the middle class. After the debate, Warren was also pressed on the issue by both CNN and MSNBC, and although Bernie Sanders has already admitted that taxes will go up, Warren repeatedly tried pivoting the conversation to one of “total costs” rather than “taxes.”  Along with this, Dom also asks a question that didn’t come up last night… do Democrats really think people would be happy to surrender their private insurance for a federal program?
