While the Carolina Panthers have made additions to multiple positions of need this offseason, tight end remains the lone position to not be properly address. Now, with the NFL Draft just over a week away, will the Panthers finally add to a lackluster position group?

The first thing the Panthers will have to ask themselves is whether Tommy Tremble, heading into the final year of his rookie deal, can show that he's a true TE1 at the NFL level. If not, does that mean it's time to find someone who can upgrade the position group?

The top tight end in the draft is Georgia's Brock Bowers. Bowers was an All-American at UGA and helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back national championships. Those accolades now have Bowers projected to be a top 10 pick. Is it worth it for the Panthers to trade up for Bowers? Or is there another player available in Day 2 who can address their needs?
