Submit ReviewIn a shortened 2020 season, Karl Dorrell guided the Colorado Buffaloes to a 4-2 record in his first year as a head coach after the departer of Mel Tucker for Michigan State. In his first full season in 2021, the Buffs won the same number of games as they did in 6 contests the year prior, finishing 4-8. After an offseason in which Colorado has seen several key players depart via the transfer portal (some to Pac-12 foes), the outlook this year in Boulder is not particularly.
On today's episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin previews the 2022 schedule for the Colorado Buffaloes. Their betting market over/under win total is set at 3.5, 1 game below their mark of 4.5 prior to the 2021 season. They "hit the under" a season ago and appear poised to be under 3.5 wins coming into 2022. Starting with 3 legitimate non-conference opponents who all present a challenge for getting a win, the Buffs might enter Pac-12 conference play without a win.
Their conference schedule is not the easiest, but it's still hard to find any easy wins on the schedule this year. When all is said and done, Spencer thinks the Buffs will finish last in the conference this year and could easily finish with just one single win in 2022.
