The Kenya Forest Service has attributed a wildfire that has destroyed thousands of acres of forest moorland at Mount Kenya, to extreme weather conditions in the region. Tigrayan rebel forces have agreed to an offer of a truce to allow aid delivery through, but an official from the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) tells us promises by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s government must be upheld.
