Cynthia Wesley-Esquimaux, chair of the Governing Circle of the National Centre For Truth and Reconciliation, is a member and resident of the Chippewa of Georgina Island First Nation. She was appointed the first Indigenous Chair on Truth and Reconciliation in Canada at Lakehead University.
