"Determining what obscene, indecent and profane mean can be difficult, depending on who you talk to." ~ The Federal Communications Commission

On this episode, we tackle the FCC's nebulous stance on what is too obscene for network television. Following our discussion about Hallow Eve's floorshow look from episode 5 of Dragula season 3, many of our listeners reached out to remind us that the FCC prohibits the use or simulation of menstrual blood in television programs, commercials, or print ads. With that in mind, we did some research into the matter and decided to share our findings. It was no surprise to us that the "regulation" is outdated, leads to misinformation, and is rooted in misogyny.

Seasonal Affective Disorder and our continued adventures with hair bleaching are on the agenda as well, and we share what we're most excited about this week: Cabronas y Chingonas' "2 Fat 2 Brave" with Favy Fav & Eva Arreguin; Safiya Nygaard's YouTube Channel; and osh.com/">Ta-Osh Designs' inclusive range of nude fabrics.
