Today on Long Island Tea, Holistic Wellness Coach Catherine Canadeo joins us in studio to share her wellness tips! The ladies recap their amazing day/night at Gurney’s, which Catherine refers to as “Winterizing,” finding a cozy/relaxing space to decompress, stengthen the immune system, and embrace Self-Care. She explains how this is called Hygee, (pronounced Hoo-gah) a Danish term encompassing feelings of coziness and contentment from simple pleasures and good company. Catherine encourages us to “have your cake and eat it too” by enjoying ourselves without overindulging, and shares how wine, tea, and chocolate are good for your heart, mind, body, and soul. As a board certified health coach, Catherine works with C-level management and other clients/ managing stress and work/life balance. The ladies also talk Golden Globes, Prince Harry’s new book, Tom Hanks’ favorite cocktail “cokeagne”, and the end of Sierra Mist. Today’s wine of the week is Lenz Winery Estate Merlot, a concentrated red with dark fruit aromas and hints of vanilla, chocolate, and white pepper.
