Denver Broncos star Free Safety Justin Simmons is set to become an unrestricted free agent when the new league year rolls around after playing the 2020 NFL season on the franchise tag on a prove-it deal. Simmons "proved it" by putting up career-high numbers in interceptions (5) and being one of the top three tacklers on the defense. Simmons proved he could do it all as the swiss army knife in Denver Broncos Head Coach Vic Fangio's defensive scheme. Simmons roamed the middle of the field and played as a box defender as well. New Broncos GM George Paton dished on Simmons future and said he would love to keep Simmons in Denver and has appreciated it from afar when he was in Minnesota.
