Before getting to sports, Martin begins the show by giving Cousin Sal a cure for zits. Harry’s brother Scott was on Against All Odds and Martin was shocked to learn he really is an onion farmer. Sal gives a quick story about giving Scott the keys to his apartment in college.
Sal wishes the Bills and Chiefs weren’t playing each other this weekend but Dave argues it can’t be like the college football playoffs. The guys react to Dak Prescott’s comments about fans who threw garbage at officials and discuss what specific plays you’d like to see the NFL get rid of.
Next, which NFL team had the most embarrassing wild card weekend performance? Martin argues it’s the Patriots as fans have gone from thinking Mac Jones was the next Tom Brady to now suggesting they should trade him. Plus, Martin questions why the Dallas Cowboys coordinators continue to be names for head coaching jobs when the team may have not been all that good to begin with.
Sal asks the guys to name who they think will win the next five Super Bowls which leads to an AFC dominated conversation as Dave can’t decide between the Bengals, Chargers, Chiefs, Bills and Steelers. Then, their thoughts on Raiders GM Mike Mayock being fired and what it means for Rich Bisaccia’s future, Hines Ward getting an interview with the Texans.
The guys close things out with a look at FanDuel’s specials for the Divisional Round of the playoffs and their best bets for tonight.
