In Sudan nearly 26 million people are facing starvation and more than 11 million people have been internally displaced in a war which has seen atrocities committed by both sides. A report from Amnesty International shows hundreds of thousands of weapons are being brought into Sudan from countries including China, Russia, Serbia, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Yemen, in violation of a UN arms embargo in Darfur. But who is backing which side, and why?
