On today's Locked On Giants podcast, host Ben Kaspick discusses the San Francisco Giants' upcoming NLDS matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Giants announced their playoff roster this morning, and there were a few surprises. Most notably, Johnny Cueto was left off. It's a move that makes sense, but is bound to make Cueto unhappy. Leaving Cueto off the roster gives the Giants another position player to work with, however. Steven Duggar and Alex Dickerson both made it, which will allow Gabe Kapler maximum maneuverability with platoons and pinch-hitting. That's clearly a bigger need and advantage than having an extra long reliever, a role Cueto would have filled.

After discussing the Giants' official roster, Ben goes position by position, breaking down whether the Giants or Dodgers have the edge. Finally, he gives his prediction for how this series is going to end up.
