Every since I started doing, The Singer Songwriter Show as a Podcast from home, it's opened up a lot more ideas.  When I was live on air (Trent Radio 92.7 FM) weekly, I was more locked into playing within a radio format.  Which meant playing previous songs in order that they grow on the listener.  Now that, The Singer Songwriter Show is strictly a podcast it seems more suited that each show to be an entity onto itself.  Does that make sense?

Today's show I'm playing some of my favorite top Canadian country's songs of, 2020.  The country genre has grown on me the last few years.  As a songwriter, and a lover of well written songs, it's hard not to like country music.  The genre is different in the fact that there are more songwriters who write for the artists.  This can take away from the authenticity of the artist, but at the same time, the collaborative effort can produce stronger, better tracks that are more competitive in the market place.
