On today’s episode, I’m sitting down with the founder of Duco, performance apparel made from ocean plastics and organics. As a young child, this week’s guest had a natural talent for entrepreneurship. Reminiscing on his first business venture at just seven years old, he held on to that creative spirit through out his school years and has never looked back. Going indoor rock climbing one day with his best friend, led him to stumble on his current entrepreneurial idea after realising the clothing worn for the sport could do with a bit of an upgrade. Starting with just £25, he could never have foreseen his sustainable clothing brand would now be valued at £2 million and be supplying the official kit of Great Britain’s Olympic climbing team. To share his experience, here’s what it’s like to be Kieran Miles.
