Submit ReviewOn today’s episode, I’m chatting with the founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a non-profit marine conservation organisation that engages in direct action campaigns to defend wildlife, and conserve and protect the world’s oceans from illegal exploitation and environmental destruction. From as early as ten years old, conservation was somewhat of a natural instinct. After spending the summer swimming with beavers near his home, he one day woke up to find they had been driven out of their natural habitat and that’s where it all began. Fast forward, having co-founded Greenpeace, he was becoming frustrated with the lack of change despite countless amounts of protesting and campaigning. He decided to leave in pursuit of a more direct action approach and Sea Shepherd was born. Sharing the entire journey from start to finish and giving his answer to how we can save our planet, here’s what it’s like to be Captain Paul Watson.
