On today’s episode, I’m joined by the co-founder of Happy Out, a cafe concept that started in two shipping containers on the shores of Dublin’s Bull Island. Entrepreneurship is something that has always come naturally to this week’s guest. Wanting to own his own business has been his ambition for as long as he can remember but never could he have guessed, that a few years down the line he’d be co-founder of two coffee shops that have taken Dublin by storm. The first brand in Ireland to adopt the shipping container as a home for their cafe, Happy Out had people eagerly queueing up from the moment it opened its doors. Sharing the realities of working in the coffee industry and how he built his business from scratch, here’s what it’s like to be Brian Hanratty.
