On today’s episode, I’m speaking with founder and creative director of French high-end streetwear brand, NASASEASONS and Prospect 100, a series of youth competitions set up to find the best in their fields. Growing up in the Tumblr era, this week’s guest has always been intrigued by the aesthetic and culture of his generation. What began as a collective of friends hosting parties in Paris, transformed into an idea of how they could capture a moment in time and eventually a streetwear brand that would end up on the heads of Hollywood and beyond. Stitching short, snappy slogans on to caps would take over his life for the next few years and little did he know he was in the process of building a concept that would attract the likes of Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye West - and have his name mentioned in Vogue and Forbes to name a few. Sharing with me how he did it from start to finish alongside his other creative projects that include work with the Rolling Stones and setting up a competition series with a judging panel that boasted Steve Wozniak, here’s what it’s like to be Alexandre Daillance.
