Submit ReviewThe Oilers are back out on the road for a run of games in New York, which means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talkin’ about last night's disappointing loss to New Jersey, Jack Campbell getting hit in the face, Evan Bouchard, and a whole lot more.
To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with a conversation about what the Oilers' biggest need is at the 20-game mark of the NHL season. Is it defence? That's what I personally believe, but what does the rest of the squad think? Is it even possible to address those needs this early in the year? Changing gears a little bit, we looked back at last night's loss to the New Jersey Devils and how the loss was incredibly frustrating, but not because the boys didn't compete but rather because their mistakes all wound up in the net. Speaking of goaltending, we then talked about poor Jack Campbell taking a puck to the nose while sitting on the bench and how the dude just cannot seem to buy a break right now. Thankfully, he seems to be okay and looks to be in line with the start tomorrow night on long island, and that led us to talk about what would be considered an acceptable game for the goaltender. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ON Radio with another round of Word Association that had the gang brimming with excitement.
