DeAndra also spoke at the 2020 Democratic National Convention and published a book, Beautiful Resilience: Stories of Inspiration on Living Through a Mother's Grief.After that, Amanda interviews Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action. They discuss what moms can do to fight for better gun legislation, why it’s important for more women to run for office, and how Shannon stays positive and hopeful while working on such a devastating issue.
