While on a mission to survey an asteroid field, Trip and Malcolm come across some debris from Enterprise, part of a launch bay door that was damaged during a rescue mission. Assuming that the Enterprise has been destroyed and that they are now stranded in deep space, the two begin working on plan to get to safety but begin to spiral into despair and doubt as air runs low.
