A collective of Indigenous artists, hugely successful in the 1960s, are the focus of a new exhibit at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery. They made and sold textiles, gift cards, moccasins, clothing, silkscreen prints, dishware, you name it. And they were hugely successful across North America. But hardly anyone has heard of a collective called the Micmac Indian Craftsmen. Jeanne Armstrong bring us their story.
