Visionary Australian economist and author Ross Garnaut has built a decades-long career analysing policy connected to development, economics and international relations in Australia, Asia and the Pacific.

Successive Australian governments have consulted Garnaut on trade policy and international relations, and now - in a new book called 'Let's Tax Carbon And Other Ideas For A Better Australia' - Garnaut sets out five major reform tasks facing the nation including the ultimate political hot potato - carbon pricing.
