Today marks one year since the Taliban swept into Kabul and regained power. 200,000 Afghans have applied for Australian visas since then, but few have arrived on our shores. Meanwhile, Afghans in Australia are denouncing comments made by former Taliban hostage Timothy Weeks, who now says he's celebrating the Taliban's first year in power. And despite recording the nation's worst rates of domestic violence, an enormous part of the remote Northern Territory is without a dedicated women's shelter.
