For many years the focus of Remembrance Day ceremonies has been the veterans of the First and Second World Wars. More recently there have been efforts to include veterans of more recent conflicts in the commemorations. Lee Windsor is a UNB History professor and a member of the Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society.
