Sydney surgeon Dr Sanjay Adusumilli treated scores of people in the Gaza conflict zone and was yesterday part of a humanitarians delegation briefing Australian politicians in parliament house.

He told RN Breakfast there was insufficient pain relief for many children with "horrific injuries" who were undergoing surgeries who were simply given panadol. He says dealing with the trauma has been "a lot harder to get over than anticipated."
