Submit ReviewThe Utah Jazz battled two of the hottest teams in the NBA this weekend with a Friday battle against the Dallas Mavericks and a Sunday afternoon game with the Phoenix Suns.
Friday the Utah Jazz were lead by the amazing play of Donovan Mitchell and the defense of Rudy Gobert on Luka Doncic late in the game.
Sunday the Jazz got a lift from the bench as Jordan Clarkson made mammoth plays, Danuel House brought a defensive force and Hasaan Whiteside made numerous plays to propell the Jazz to a win in Phoenix against the best record in the NBA.
What is there to take from these two games? This Utah Jazz team has a very different feel to the team of the past 16 months with multiple defensive players in the lineup The rotations are still trying to come together and we will look at what is taking place.
Finally, Donovan Mitchell is the #1 pick and roll guard in the NBA and his ability to continue to grow is really the key to all things Utah Jazz.
It is a trends Monday as well.
