The Utah Jazz lost close games over the weekend to the best of the West, the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns. In both those games the signature of the Utah Jazz, heart showed through in abundance. However, without Mike Conley the Jazz are just missing on too many plays over the course of a night and it is costing them a chance to win the same games they were winning earlier this year.

David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider, hosts the daily podcast Locked On Jazz and breaks down all things Utah Jazz for you.

The Jazz offense is #2 in all of the NBA at the 20 point mark of the season. This is truly remarkable as the Jazz are loaded with players who have been inefficient in the past. However, Will Hardy's system is getting the most out of numerous guys and it is vaulting the Jazz offense to a new level.

The Jazz have two issues that are holding them back, transition defense and defensive rebounding. Locke looks at both these issues and isn't sure if there is an answer for the Jazz on how to solve these problems.

Lastly, Locke shares his thoughts from close game watching with Ron Boone.
