The Utah Jazz have lost 5 in a row and the defense is ranked 30th in the NBA in the NBA in that stretch. However, they are defending the shot well and they are forcing teams into the best shot distribution in the NBA in that span. The problem is they are not forcing turnovers and they are not grabbing the defensive glass. This has lead to the worst defense in the NBA in the last 5 games.

David Locke, radio voice of the Utah Jazz and Jazz NBA Insider takes a look at those numbers and how the Jazz can rectify some of the issues defensively that have plagued them over the recent 5 game losing streak.

Locke then looks at the offensive impact of no Mike Conley on some of the Jazz players and sees that Malik Beasley has been the most negatively impacted by not having Conley on the floor. However, Collin Sexton is showing some awesome offensive numbers on the pick and roll and drive games as is Jordan Clarkson.

Lastly, Locke looks at the Los Angeles Clippers who for 5 games have been without Paul George and Kawhi Leonard and it is letting everyone get involved and have a positive impact as the Clippers have won 5 of 7. However, the Clippers offense is 29th in the NBA and the signs are not great that they can turn this around.
