Andy Kubik spent 15 years in the USAF in Special Operations.  He was in theatre in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq.  The six overseas deployments as a combat controller and rescue man, took its toll on his health and family.  He talks about the small and elite USAF Special Ops and his bad choices when leaving the service in 2004 with host Jim Fausone.  Andy's heroic actions on November 23, 2001 that lead to the award of a Silver Star are discussed.  Getting help for his substance abuse, PTSD and TBI are mentioned and his job and solid relationship with his son are highlighted.
