Kriss, Ro and Brandon review Jordan Peele's latest film, Us. This is a film that's difficult to process after just one viewing. Peele plays with the horror genre that feels both as a homage and something completely new. It's a contradiction of a mainstream yet niche film. The weird and confusing parts don't distract from the entertainment value and great performances. Lupita Nyong'o puts in one hell of a performance and she's not alone.
We dive into what we enjoyed about the film, what gave us pause (not necessarily in a bad way) and why it's needs to be seen multiple times to really grasp what the film is trying to show us.
