How do you respond or react to the situations and circumstances in your life? While we can’t control everything that happens in our lives, the one thing we do have power over is our reaction to the events that come at us.

In this episode, I am joined by Advanced Grief Recovery Method Specialist and Workplace Grief Coach, Heather D. Horton. After tragically losing her mother and surviving Hurricane Katrina, Heather's priorities and perspective on life shifted. Heather is the Founder of The H‐Squared Group, LLC, a location-independent grief recovery coaching and support practice that empowers lawyers and law students to identify the root cause of their personal and professional challenges and learn how to manage their emotions. Heather has dedicated the rest of her life to being the change she wants to see in the world.

Tune in to learn about Heather’s traumatic car accident, experiencing Hurricane Katrina, the passing of her mother, how her relationship with her father was rebuilt, and how the Black Lives Matter movement impacted her grief recovery.
