The spokesperson, Victoria Shi, is an AI-created figure dressed in a dark suit and has a lifelike appearance. While the statements will still be written by humans, the visual part of the presentation is enhanced by AI technology. The move aims to save time and resources for diplomats and prevent the dissemination of fake statements. Each pronouncement by Victoria Shi will be accompanied by a QR code linking to the corresponding text version on the ministry's website for transparency and authenticity.
