Britain's conservative party has elected its first black, female leader - Kemi Badenoch - who's promised to "renew the party" - and win back voters who've deserted the Tories in droves.

The 44-year-old beat her fellow MP Robert Jenrick, with about 55-per cent of the vote.

  • Guest: Iain Dale, UK broadcaster, author and political commentator
  • Producer: Anne Barker
