Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has decided against putting the Ebola-hit central region under quarantine to prevent the virus spreading to the rest of the country. He says lockdowns are not necessary and that they will tackle the virus “differently”. Félicien Kabuga, who is one of the last main suspects in the 1994 Rwandan genocide – and once one of Rwanda’s richest men - has refused to attend the opening of his trial before a UN tribunal at The Hague, but judges have ruled that the case will proceed. And we hear from Gambian rap musician ST who drops tunes and plants trees.
