Bloody Elbow fight experts, Zane Simon & Dayne Fox, are here tonight – Sat, June 12th, to breakdown the UFC 263: Adesanya vs Vettori 2 event, which was broadcast from the Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ – with a live full capacity crowd. The guys will have hot takes, possible next fights, as well as reactions to the overall event. The UFC showcased 2 TITLE FIGHTS tonight! Returning to the octagon for the main event, we had the reigning, defending, UFC Middleweight Champion of the World, #4 ranked, Israel Adesanya, entering the bout with a remarkable 20-1 record. Adesanya was banging it out in this title fight against Marvin Vettori – for the 2nd time around. Vettori was the #3 ranked Middleweight in the division & entered the bout with his impressive 17-3 record on a 5-fight win streak. In the co-main event, we had a rematch bout between UFC Flyweight Champion, Deiveson Figueiredo, & his contender, Brandon Moreno. Figueiredo was coming at this on a 5-fight win streak, with an astounding 20-1 record. Meanwhile, Moreno, ranked #1 in the division & on a 4-fight win streak, was coming at this bout with an impressive 18-5 record. Also on the card, we had a Welterweight bout between the #3 ranked Leon Edwards, with his 18-3 record, on an 8; matched up against the returning Nate Diaz, sporting a 20-12 record. Diaz had not fought a single bout since losing to Jorge Masvidal over the BMF Title back at UFC 244 back in Nov, 2019, & it was expected by fight experts that he would have his ass handed to him in this bout. These bouts were preceded by our featured main card opener between Paul Craig & Jamahal Hill, in addition to an extensive 9-bout undercard, , which included a seven-second KO in the first round. Overall, this 14-bout card saw 2 1st Rd finishes, 2 KO/TKO’s, & 10 hard fought decisions - 1 split, 1 majority. Rounding things out, bonuses for putting forth POTN efforts went to Brandon Moreno and Paul Craig; FOTN honors went to Drew Dober vs. Brad Riddell. What a night of fights we have to share with you, join us to discuss all the action...
