Join us right here, or for VIDEO on our Combat Culture YT Channel AT - https://youtu.be/RrRu13-1YYk, for a ‘Radio-Style’ PBP broadcast of the UFC 259 PPV MAIN CARD with LIVE updates, commentary, results & reactions. Tonight, the UFC showcased 3 title battles, for the UFC LHW Championship, the UFC Women’s FW Championship & the UFC FW Championship. Returning to the octagon for the main event we have the reigning UFC LHW Champion, Jan Blachowicz, with a remarkable 27-8 record, after an almost 6 month break from UFC action, to defend the title against the reigning UFC MW Champ, ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya; arguably one of the best strikers in all of MMA, entering with his impressive undefeated 20-0 record. In the co-main event, we have the highly predictable Women’s UFC FW Championship between ‘The Lioness’, Amanda Nunes, entering the octagon with a strong #1 ranked 20-4 record vs. Megan Anderson, with her #5 ranked 10-4 record. Nunes is a massive favorite heading into this fight, so it is highly likely Anderson gets a severe beat down here, as Nunes is the 1st woman to become a 2-division UFC champion, and the 3rd fighter in UFC history to hold titles in 2 weight classes simultaneously. She is also the 1st & only fighter in UFC history to defend 2 titles while actively holding them. Our 3rd title fight of the event is for the UFC BW Championship between the reigning champion Petr Yan (he holds this title despite being ranked #10 in the division) and the #1 ranked contender, Aljamain ‘Funk Master’ Sterling, our staff mainly leans towards Yan winning via decision here but we do have a couple holdouts for Sterling to pull the title off Yan. Also on the card, we have an exciting LHW bout taking place between fight veteran ‘Maretta’ (The Sledgehammer) Thiago Santos, with his storied 21-8 career record matched up against the up-and-comer Aleksandar Rakić sporting a 13-2 record (with only 1 loss since Oct, 2011). Rakić debuted in the UFC a little over 3 years ago and is a rising star, currently ranked #5, behind Santos who is at #4 after 8 years of UFC performances. These bouts will have been preceded by a fully-packed 10 bout undercard. What a wild night full of fights we have to share with you!
