The UFC showcased a Title Fight for the UFC Flyweight Championship in the main event. In that featured bout of the UFC 256 PPV card, which was broadcast from the #UFCAPEX Center, Las Vegas, Nevada, we have — FIGUEIREDO and MORENO going at it. Recently crowned 32-year old UFC Flyweight Champion, Deiveson ‘Deus da Guerra’ Figueiredo, with a 20-1 record, will attempt his second title defense, versus 27-year old contender, Brandon ‘The Assassin Baby’ Moreno with a 18-5 record. In the co-main event, we have a Lightweight tilt between Tony ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson entering the octagon with a 25-4 record vs. Charles ‘Do Bronx’ Oliveira’s 29-8, so far to date. Also on the card, we have an exciting women’s Strawweight bout taking place between up-and-comer Mackenzie Dern and the Brazilian brawler Virna ‘Carcara’ Jandiroba. Dern is coming at this on a two-fight win streak, having had defeated both Randa Markos and Hannah Cifers this year. While Jandiroba is also entering the octagon off a two-fight win streak, having defeated Felice Herrig and Mallory Martin in the past year. As if that’s not enough, we also have an enthralling match-up between Kevin ‘Trailblazer’ Holland and Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza at Middleweight. Perhaps this will be the final card for Junior dos Santos, who will be contending with the undefeated 30-year old Ciryl Gane in our main event opener; which will have been preceded by a fully-packed undercard with two sets of prelims.
