The U18s Championships are over for another year. WA were crowned champs, Deven Robertson the Larked Medal (during the podcast recording it hadn't been awards, but we assumed he's win it after breaking the carnival record for most disposals. Now that it's over, we'll be putting together a 2-3 part series on our assessment of the Champs. Part 1 is the subjective assessment that's driven by what we saw when watching, Part 2 the objective assessment which is what we see in the data, and Part 3 will be our Power Rankings and early Mock Drafts. Part 1: We wanted to take the time to reflect on our subjective assessment of the players now that we've seen them all playing at the same level of competition for a month. Who impressed us and has moved into Top 5, Top 10, and First round contention? Who surprised us and has come from the clouds and into 2nd - 4th round contention. Tune in to find out.
