First of Two Arctic Blasts Working across Central/Eastern U.S.; Western U.S. Dry and Warm;  Two blasts of Arctic air will impact the central and eastern U.S. with below normal temperatures and some wintry weather into next week. The first blast will slide east through Friday with rain towards the south and snow to the north before a shot of even colder air follows a similar track early next week.
