On this new episode of the Two Shots Podcast, both Joe Garcia and Noah Magaro-George will discuss the San Antonio Spurs' season thus far as the team has reached the halfway mark. We will also address the team's recent struggles and despite their inexperience, the players have been working hard and competing out on the court.  The Spurs are currently 27th on offense and 30th on defense. They have the fourth-worst record in the league. However, they are still competitive and playing the right way. Coach Pop is instilling good practices and fundamentals into the team, in the hopes that it will pay off in the long run. However, the team does not have the personnel to win games and they often find themselves behind after the first quarter.  Noah Magaro-George pointed out that in the Spurs most recent loss to the Memphis Grizzlies that the team is lacking a closer and that this is a problem. Please read Noah Magaro-George's latest article over at Pounding The Rock for a deeper analysis of what we learned from the Spurs loss to the Grizzlies. Trade Rumors involving the Spurs have started to pick up and with Josh Richardson playing well as of late, this could really help increase his trade value. But what is the likelihood that the Spurs are going to pull off a high-profile trade? We will answer that question and a lot more in this episode of the Two Shots Podcast.
