In our increasingly interconnected world, students must learn how to be socially aware-- that is, how to relate to, understand, and ultimately empathize with peers from different backgrounds and cultures in order to develop successful relationships at school, at home, and in the workplace. Empatico is a videoconferencing tool that allows teachers to connect their classrooms with others around the world, with the support of research-based activities and resources designed to foster curiosity, meaningful connections, and empathy among students 6-11.
