Every now and then something happens in the world that transcends sneakers. And what happened in Washington D.C. last week was one of those moments. So we begin the show with our thoughts on that situation.

Master P wants to buy Reebok and make it a Black brand. We break it all down, along with other factors involved in order to bring Reebok back to relevancy. He also wants to make Allen Iverson their “Michael Jordan”. But does the Iverson signature line have the cache?

Jerry Lorenzo and Jayson Mayden are joining Adidas to help propel their basketball category. This comes down to expectations. Adidas is hoping that Jerry, and his Fear of God brand, will have the “Kanye Effect”. Will Jerry and Jayson be enough? Only time will tell…

And finally, is Adidas making the same mistake that WCW made in the mid to late 90s in battling their Nike/WWF counterparts?
