Submit ReviewTread Perilously celebrates its fourth anniversary with a month of good Doctor Who stories! To begin, Justin finds himself reunited with the Seventh Doctor and Ace in "Remembrance of the Daleks."
London, 1963. A British Army detachment discovers mysterious radio transmissions centered at the Coal Hill Secondary School and the I.M. Foreman junkyard at 76 Totter's Lane. The signals also seem to attract the attention of the Doctor, who returns to the site of his first Earthly visit to finish a long-delayed skirmish with the Daleks. But much to his surprise, there are two Dalek factions searching for the Gallifreyan weapon he left behind during his first visit. Will one of the factions harness its awesome energy and become counterfeit Time Lords?
Justin maintains his belief that the Seventh Doctor and Ace make a bad story watchable and good stories great. Erik reveals his love for the Special Weapons Dalek. Both try to determine Ace's socioeconomic status. Justin refuses to believe there is such a place as Pease Pottage. The discussion inevitably veers toward the Daleks as a metaphor for fascism. Justin discovers he can do a second British accent and two put upon scientist characters, Rachel and Alison, become the MVPs of the story.
