COVID testing and travel advice; travel from the UK, to Ireland, or Europe, may require a vaccine certificate. So where do you get a test kit and how much will it cost? Will it be acceptable when it comes time to travel? Rory Borland, Travel Editor for Which? discusses their research on this. Linda hears from listener Margaret, who thought she had read up on travel and vaccinations before she and her partner made a trip by ferry from Penbroke to Rosslare, only to find her test certificate wasn't accepted by the ferry company. With an increase in people suffering from respiratory illnesses, many may need additional oxygen at home and will rely on mains electricity. NIE Networks and NI Water operate a Critical Care Register where they keep details of consumers who rely on electrical equipment or on a water supply for their day to day care. NIE Customer Relations Manager Cormac McCamphill explains how this works. Electric cars and sustainable travel; as the date for the end of petrol and diesel cars is finalised, motoring and green vehicle expert Amanda Stretton discusses when to buy an electric car, and the future of the second hand car industry.
